I appreciate being tagged in posts for videographers and producers, but often these opportunities arise last minute due to unexpected vacancies (due to either party) or lack of prior importance. This reflects poor stewardship of relationships and planning. A rushed process compromises the vision, undermines effectiveness, and holds us accountable for prior experiences. Our commitment to excellence does not allow us to be made an afterthought or glorified back up in the pre-production process.

Your language in the cave is indicative of the health of your heart. Many people have assumed they are alone not because evidence communicated but history. Your history of being sidelined and overlooked has convinced you no one is rooting for you, standing with you, or praying you through.

This unhealthy heart will cause you to speak language that disengages allies before you ever meet. The cave lonely, cold, and lifeless and will force you to encounter YOU. Even in the cave, God can heal your heart. Just watch your mouth.

Some of us must be honest and say it’s not that God hasn’t sent help willing and able. We just didn’t have capacity to curate a consistently safe space for their gift nor have language to lead them in a sure direction.

Your real prayer to God is not about people. He tried that. It’s about you. Your capacity, language, awareness, emotional intelligence must be matured to lead who He will send next!

Hey let me help you:

If your pastor doesn’t speak on it, them, they, you should use that as a metric.

This may make your soul upset but your spirit needs it: when you align publicly with narratives that have been marked privately you forfeit connections by default.

No one will tell you this because our culture is under the guise that we can do what we like and “who’s going to say anything?”.

Here’s the amazing truth: you will never hear anything. You will just see others stand where you should. I’ve noticed two kind of people lose opportunity:

1. Those that can not wait patiently and grow their business
2. Those that are scared to walk in their genius and be confident in excellence

There is a group of people that will affirm this post silently. There is another group that will take it to their group chat (I love you anyhow). I came for the last: the ones that will become offended. You never grow beyond the point of offense and that is why you are stuck.

Hear me in and with love: there is more for you. You just have to be willing to challenged even if that means remaining in silence.

Grow, become, step up. Do it silently. Do it in confidence. Do it in excellence. Stay out of mess. Remove yourself from toxic groups (you know they are). Submit yourself to leadership (ouch I know this one hurts).

Allow growth to produce a testimony (a real one) in you. Wait your turn (this one hurts too). It’s not always your turn, it’s not always your time, it’s not always your call.

Sometimes cheer for others. Sometimes show up for others. Sometimes support others. Do it when it’s genuine and sincere. When your time comes, the momentum will sustain because they’ll remember what you did for them. They won’t be waiting for it to die. They won’t be waiting for you to fall. They’ll hold you up when you’re in sight and not.

Alright that’s it. God has you. He has not forgotten. Do not be yoked up with this demonic culture of entitlement. His will, time, and way is best!

Ok while I’m here today: God’s love is not the metric for salvation. So if you’re determining your choices by God’s love just know you’re not wrong. But you’re probably not saved. We are saved THROUGH grace because of His love but by our faith in conjunction with our posture to God. We then make intentional decisions that align with our belief about our God made evident in His word.

While God’s love is unconditional, your walk with Him is. “If you love me, keep my commandments..”

This is not the year to deflect the “more” that God wants you to walk in. Come out of agreement, stop making excuses, and allow God to help you in the areas that you are failing (let me help: we all have them).

Please understand: God’s love was strong enough for him to die. Your love should be strong enough for you to commit.
