Potent Media founder Christian Jude Grillo made his directing debut with his award-winning short film "The Wish". The film won awards at Terror Film Fest and the Delaware Valley Film Festival. From there Potent Media went on to direct thre
e feature films: Booley, Deer Crossing, and their newest feature film, Apocalypse Kiss. Potent Media has also put out a number of short films most written and co-directed by Carmela Hayslett. Potent Media quickly gained a reputation for putting out a film every year and always successfully attaining worldwide distribution. Potent Media also put out a successful web series entitled Roxsy Tyler's Carnival of Horrors. A comedic show under a horror theme about a few butt heads who run a broken carnival and decide to watch classic horror films all day. The show gained a huge following over the span of three years. Hats: Director, Writer, Producer, Editor, Sound Engineer, and beanies. Christian ran a music studio in Northeast Philadelphia called Ground Control. He recorded hundreds of local Philadelphia bands and quickly realized he wanted to make music for films. Thus started his journey of becoming a renaissance man of Independent Film. John Kent has been by Christian's side since the very beginning having successfully produced all Potent Media films. Carmela Hayslett
Hats: Actress, Writer, Producer, Director, Casting, Editor, Stills Photographer, Chris's partner in crime and Top Hats. Carmela never dreamed of becoming an actress. Her original plan in life was to become a writer having successfully graduated from multiple writing schools and courses around the country. Carmela joined Potent Media in 2007 as a promotions model and quickly realized she hates modeling. Taking a break from writing she decided to pursue acting and made her debut in "Booley". Carmela gained stardom when she started her web series, Roxsy Tyler's Carnival of Horrors. The character of Roxsy Tyler being based on a book Carmela published in her youth. As Roxsy Tyler, Carmela became a big part of Philadelphia's rich horror hosting history. Believing she can do more to help than just standing in front of the camera Carmela joined Potent Media's post-production team as an editor. David Gechman - Visual FX Supervisor

David has his own production company, Dapper Cat Pictures LLC. The beautiful relationship between Potent Media and Dapper Cat pictures started in late 2012. John Martini Martineau - Camera Operator and Stills Photographer. John won his nickname during the filming of "Apocalypse Kiss". He didn't like it at first but now he has named his production company Martini Pictures (formerly Anarchy Pictures). Along with David Stewart, Martini pictures joined forces with Potent Media in late 2012, completing the power house that is Potent Media, Dapper Cat Pictures, and Martini Pictures. Chuck Maher - Actor, Boom Operator, PA, and Director's Asst. Chuck joined in on the action in late 2010 when he joined Carmela's show Roxsy Tyler's Carnival of Horrors. Chuck's enthusiasm for learning and for movies lead him to pursue acting, boom operating, prop mastery, and to become a valuable production assistant. Tom McGahan - Boom Operator
