HOW MUCH OF WHAT THESE MINISTERS SAY IS THE TRUTH IF THE MINISTER CAN LIE OPENLY ON THE FLOOR OF PARLIAMENT AND THE SPEAKER CAN AID THOSE LIES.

Yesterday the minister came to parliament to deliver a ministerial statement over the Allegations that ZNS is importing GMO and whether the government is exporting mealie meal to Congo as well as whether Farming inputs are being delivered late .

In his response to the GMO issue the minister without shame says he cannot confirm whether the mealie meal ZNS is selling in kasumbalesa is GMO or not yet in the same breath he confirms that the decision to allow ZNS to be selling mealie meal in Kasumbalesa is streategic to prevent congolese from coming to buy our mealie meal from the copperbelt towns.

So how can the entire Minister not know which mealie meal ZNS selling when he is the one that made that strategic decision for ZNS to be selling that mealie meal.The question is what mealie meal did he say they should be selling when he sanctioned that strategic decision.
Secondly his permanent secretary issues an import permit to ZNS to import GMO mealie meal into the country and so if the Minister is not aware of the mealie meal being sold by ZNS at kasumbalesa where is the GMO mealie meal being imported by ZNS going??
Thirdly yesterday ZNS issued a press statement that GMO mealie meal had been stolen from the ZNS depot in Kasumbalesa.The question is how come the minister of Agriculture is not aware of all these events yet he is the one who sanctions these activities.

The second point is the minister claims that there is no export of the Zambian Mealie meal into Congo Yet his PS issued an export permit to Jambo Milling this January to export mealie meal to congo.The questions is how can a minister who issues these permits through his PS not be aware of all these happenings. How can a normal and responsible leadership be issuing permits to export mealie meal when there is a serious drought and a food crisis is looming and even a child knows what dangers lies ahead in so far as food security is concerned.

The truth is that the minister of Agriculture knows all these happenings because he is the one who sanctions them but he is lying to cover up the dirt and illegalities that is going on in the ministry.The saddest part is that you have a minister who comes to openly lie on the floor of parliament with a smile and is aided by the speaker to tell the Nation lies.

IT IS SUCH A SHAME AND AN EMBARRASSMENT TO HAVE SUCH PEOPLE LEAD THIS COUNTRY AND YOU EXPECT ANY GOOD TO COME OUT OF THEM.

That is why we need a new set of leaders for this country to heal otherwise we are a sick nation.

Zambia's Sixth President, Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu has expressed shock at the false allegations by the Drug Enforcement Commission that they have nabbed his driver or former driver for trafficking in cannabis.

The former President says he has never had a driver named Juvensio Mathews Phiri under State House or under officers attached to his office from the Zambia Police.

He has called on the Drug Enforcement Commission(DEC) Director General, Mr. Nason Banda to show minimum decency and professionalism.

Former President Lungu has called on public institutions to remain professional despite the political pressure they receive from desperate leaders who are engaged in attempting to tarnish his name or his legacy.
The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) issued a statement stating that its officers in Eastern Province arrested former president Edgar Chagwa Lungu's Driver and Security personnel, identified as Juvensio Mathews Phiri, male aged 53, for trafficking in 55.6 Kg of loose cannabis.

President Lungu has also called on the media to be professional despite the current political pressure, the state of shrunk democratic space, and reject the temptation or allure of making them as paid voices to parrot government propaganda.

He gave an example where he called on the Implementation of quality education in Zambia and the need NOT to sacrifice quality education in the name of free education, a statement that has grossly and falsely been reported that he called for the cancellation of the free education policy.

President Lungu said Zambia was facing a serious crisis with the challenges of the economy, disease outbreaks and the worst cost of living in many decades.

He said Zambia was also facing the threat of food insecurity following the drought caused by the El Niño weather effect and the wanton maize exports that was done without due consideration the national strategic maize reserves.

He said the concerns about food security was so serious that it may worsen the current economic conditions if not dealt with adequately.

He called on the Government of President Hakainde Hichilema to concentrate on delivering service to the people of Zambia and resolving the various crises facing the nation than his efforts concentrating of attempting to destroy democracy and the Opposition in Zambia.
