The Missing Piece

In a mosaic vast and grand,
Each tile placed by careful hand,
Patterns weave in bright display,
Stories told in hues of clay.

Yet eyes fixate on what’s not there,
A single void, a tile’s bare,
Neglecting all the vibrant art,
Focusing on the absent part.

But look around, see the light,
In every tile, a pure delight,
Shapes and colors, joy and grace,
A masterpiece in every place.

The missing piece, it plays its role,
To make the whole mosaic whole,
For in its gap, we find a way,
To treasure what remains today.

So shift your gaze, embrace the scene,
Let every perfect tile be seen,
In life’s grand art, let love increase,
And cherish all, not just the missing piece.
