Faith comes by hearing ... the Word of God

Is faithfulness attempting to attain a religious standard none of us can really know we have attained? For example, "Always do your very best; after-all, God's grace reaches down to the level of your inability." In other words, one must have a faith which works to exercise their abilities to the fullest. Anything less than your best is sin and may be forgiven through repentance and greater human effort.

There is a much better paradigm, you are to make an effort to grow spiritually in Christ faithfully every day. Daily submissive effort is the New Covenant standard of obedience of faith, Jesus deserves nothing less than this abiding LOVE. So, strive daily to grow in the way of Christ, faithfully, to lovingly please Him! Then be fully assured you are sinless before God each moment of each day, one day at a time.

Grace through submissive obedient faith is God's requirement for sinless perfection before Him. Here is what the new life in Christ is to look like: Dedicate yourself, first thing daily, before the Father to grow spiritually in union with Jesus so that your behavior is Christ-like every day. Then last thing daily, evaluate your day and plan the morning. Humbly rededicate to Christ, focus on Christ and make progress in imitating Christ, thus becoming like Him. This faithfulness glorifies Christ and transforms your life.

Daily grace does not only reach down so far, it covers all one's needs, failures and sin when one wholeheartedly consecrates them self to God daily! Their Christ-like behavior becomes the fruit from their salvation in Christ, not a cause or source of their salvation in any way.
