Hey moms! How are you doing? Have you been able to go p*e alone? Me either. Yesterday my daughter cried outside my door while I pooped. I had to explain that I just needed a few minutes. She proceeded to tell me that I was taking "ages" (she's 5) and she missed me. So, I'm very loved. Lol bahaha.

I read a post the other day and it really resonated with me.

It's not our time to... And then it listed all the things.

And it's true. I have 4 kids. 3 little kids. I still have an amazing husband and we have a lot going on.

So without guilt, and without feeling inadequate, here is my list:

It's not our time to:

Have date nights weekly

Work extra hours

Have a clean house ( though I try lol)

Have time to ourselves.

Leave the house in 30 seconds

Have hobbies.

Hang out with friends.

The point is, one day I will get all of that back, and I'll miss the times when my kids were so little I could barely get anything done. I don't pick up a lot of extra shifts at work when my clients cancel bc I like to spend time with my babies, I don't go out on the weekends with friends much bc I like to spend my weekend making memories with my kids and husband.

Of course I carve time out for myself, but right now that looks like a bubble bath on a Friday.

Of course my husband and I spend time together, but right now that looks like a grocery trip with one kid, a quick run to Walmart, or a night on the couch playing "Smash Brothers" lol.

One day, I'll need to fill the space that I don't have right now. But for now I'm going to enjoy what I have going on. A gift I never thought I would have. A gift I'm still lucky to be a part of.

Catch me in about 5 years though and bring the margaritas and a light. :) 💕

Make this. Eat this!. I made this tonight bc I was exhausted and needed to feed the kids. It was easy and it was super good. Healthy... No. But there are a few things that could be changed to make it a little healthier. I'm not doing that. But y'all can. :)

My kids got some awful bug this weekend starting Thursday night. My son got it worse than the girls. Him and I haven't slept in 3 days. He has the worst sensory issues so giving him meds felt like I was the absolute worst person in history. And every time he coughed he would scream which made his throat hurt more.

New recording tonight. I'm running a bit behind. Lol
