In an apartment building not too far from the banks of the Mississippi, a twenty-something insomniac had an idea. Moon Spoon - the idea and now the IRL publication - blasted off not even 12 hours later, propelled by a hope to become an illuminating, thoughtful, silly, stubborn, fair and experimental culture publication, focused but not limited to spreading good music. Moon Spoon will probably grow

up, out and away from the initial vibrant thought that marked its genesis that auspicious midwestern night. Nevertheless, an obligatory "Welcome and please keep reading" post seems like a somewhat stable place to start for now.
