𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗞𝗔𝗡 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗘!! Vaughnette Bigford never fails to captivate when it comes to her events. And Isokan did not disappoint in the slightest. The pre-show was vibes (I was tempted to jump into the gayelle lol). Cael Pyke is a star in the making I can't wait to see where his journey takes him. Brother Valentino was a performance I didn't know that I needed and now I need more of it truly.

As for VB, what more can I say? Every song, every performance, was nothing short of perfection (big up Ming and Rodney for the arrangements). Shout out to the band, always, love allyuh bad. These are the types of events that the hubs and I truly look forward to now. Vaughnette Bigford thank you always, for your labour of love, it inspires me in ways I can't begin to explain. Maybe one day I'll seriously harass you about singing back up 🥴. But for now, I take pleasure in being on the receiving end of your magic. Cheers till the next one.

THE STRUGGLE TO FIND JEANS PART TWO!!!
Sooooo I saw a TikTok from a store called MsOverdo Clothing located right in San Juan, a few buildings away from Tru Valu. Since I left the house today I figured I could detour on my way home. I GOT A PAIR!! Price tag $325. The last pair of plus size wide leg mind you. But I got it 😅. As per usual, it's too long but I'll get it hemmed. I'll probably get one or two more when I check out some other stores in the near future, but for now, it looks like we're off to a good start.

EXPLORING THE NORTH COAST WITH Road Trip TT!!! Because there is so much more to it than Maracas Beach. The hubs and I didn’t know what to expect but whew! The 100 Steps beach took me to task! But it was amazing visiting 100 Steps, Yarra and Damian Bays and the bridge since that was my first time.

NOIR CARIBÉ: Bold Caribbean Woman, Collection Launch by Loud by Afiya Bishop. As a plus size woman, shopping local off the rack is very limited, so when I do find local brands that cater to me in the same way that they cater to smaller bodies, I support them wholeheartedly.

If you’re new here, back in the day ya girl did some runway modeling (yes even with my 5’2 frame lol). So it felt good to be part of a fashion show again. I had a blast and the other models were such a cool group of ladies.

Thank you Afiya for allowing ya girl to strut her stuff. Now to decide which outfits I want to get from the collection (even after I put myself on a shopping ban).

Hubs when you see this… I didn’t buy anything 😅

THE STRUGGLE TO FIND JEANS!!!
Listen, I am usually not one who encounters difficulty finding clothing locally as a plus size woman (though I understand all too well that others do). But when I tell allyuh, the struggle to find a pair of plus size wide leg jeans is REAL. I can get everything else denim wise without fuss, but some straight or wide leg jeans? Pressure!! Send help!
ETA: No online suggestions, I need to go in store and try on.

Everything was spot on and the hubs and I easily had one of our most enjoyable evenings out ever. I will say this till ah cyahnot say it no more...if you have not been to any of Vaughnette's events, you are missing out! Next time I sitting as close to the front as possible oui.

The first time I encountered Djhowtey Adornments, I bought loc jewellery for my mom. I quickly became a fan of her wire pieces, ESPECIALLY her nose slips. I've always wanted to pierce my nose but the way my sinus is set up 🥴. Her nose slips have come in handy without fail. Then I got her to start back making the lip slips.
