Brendan Quinn, the legendary country singer, will be accompanied by two of Ireland's best traditional musicians, accordion master and 2013 Gradam Ceoil champion Dermot Byrne and world-renowned violin player Ciaran Tourish, both from Donegal supergroup Altan. This fantastic lineup combines Country, Trad, and Americana to produce a night of great music that will enthral lovers of all genres. Brendan has been making music for almost fifty years, with hit songs including It's Four in the Morning, Bandy the Rodeo Clown, and Daddy's Little Girl. Like a great wine, he improves with age, with recent albums 'Tickin' Over' and 'Lockdown' receiving widespread airplay and critical acclaim.

Tomorrow night at 7pm in the Abbey Arts Centre in Ballyshannon, Barry will be personally launching his Ballyshannon Folk and Traditional Music Festival Poster Exhibition with over 40 years of artwork on display. He would be delighted if you could join him. The exhibition will run for the weekend with the man himself there from 10 am to 2 pm daily too!

What a brilliant start to 2023. A great night of jazz at The Bank House last night. Here's a clip of Richard Nelson trading lines with Eamon McLoughlin on fiddle (Eamon is the Staff Fiddle player at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and has worked with artists including Vince Gill, Nina Simone. He is also in the touring bands of Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell. With Jenny Hallahan on bass, Karl Bertham on guitar and Eddie Mc Farlane on guitar.
