I have owned my Ender 5 Plus now for almost 2 years and in my progression I have never used or wanted to use glue on my printer beds. I have owned 3 beds 2 of which are still in use. The original glass bed that I like to use with PLA and then my PEI bed but that has been replaced once. (I feel that will happen with a thin plastic sheet that u just stick to a base.) Other than that never needed glue. I print PETG, PLA and some TPU and NO GLUE is used on the bed.
Printer mods, I have done a few but I will list some:
Linear Rails X & Y
Silicon Bed Springs (A Must Have, Remove them springs.)
Running Direct Drive All Metal Extruder.
Hotend is basically standard but I replaced it due to killing one. I did print the Hero Gen5 Cooler system for my printer. This was also a big improvement at the start of my learning to print with the Ender 5plus.
I will attach a picture of my printer also and u will see a lot of the mods that I printed for it.
Something I printed recently..
The easter island figure is hollow with no bottom printed with 3 walls on a 0.6mm nozzle up to 80mms.
