When you love what you do, most days are pretty good, but occasionally you get an extra special one; and this day was 100% that! A day of new ideas and inspiration at IQPC UK's Inaugural offsite, alongside 120+ female employees and male allies.

A huge thank you to our wonderful internal speakers and all our amazing WIB Team for making this happen.

Finally to the incredible Sarah Jenkins, MD Saatchi & Saatchi, who gave so generously of her time to inspire us all, thank-you.

It was inspirational to be around so many driven and motivated women and such a great opportunity to learn how we can continue to improve and drive equality in the workplace. A wonderful way to end the year.

Having worked in recruitment for as long as some of you reading this have been alive I can honestly say that each year everyone has the same idea about getting a new job in the new year. So what does this mean for you who are thinking about a NEW YEAR NEW CAREER. Well the market becomes flooded with people all wanting a change. Competition for that job you want increases significantly and you become one of many actively job hunting.

To give an example last year I filled 9 new roles in the first week of January and had my choice of the crème de la crème of candidates.

So with Xmas fast approaching and many recruiters going away over this period what are you waiting for. Beat the rush and get ahead of the crowd. Even if you don’t want to start a new role until January find your dream job NOW. Everyone is sitting and waiting whether it be for the end of year bonus or holidays to be over, don’t let that cloud your decision to move sooner rather than later.

Another year on and IQPC London proudly clubbed together to support a charity close to many of our hearts. Having heard a truly shocking statistic recently that in 2018 we had the highest number of rough sleepers dying - 726 people died on the streets last year, that’s almost 2 per day. Jordan’s journey with IQPC.

Shortly after graduating Jordan started his journey at IQPC in January 2018 taking up a role in Delegate Sales. Six months into the role he got to work on his first large scale event, then within a few months he had the opportunity to work on IQPC’s biggest event of the year Australian Healthcare Week.

Winning rookie of the year for 2018 and he was then promoted to Senior Delegate Sales Manager.

In June 2019 Jordan was promoted to Partnerships Manager within the Australian Healthcare Week Series team which encompasses 3 large events.

“What I have loved about working at IQPC is the ongoing one-on-one training, the culture and the opportunity for career progression”.

This month IQPC Dubai took time out in the afternoon to try Desk Yoga. Combining traditional yoga moves and meditation this activity focused on relieving stress and calming the mind. It proved to be a great way to wind down the week and set the team up for a relaxing weekend.
