Dare2Care OBX, the Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station and the Sons of the American Legion will hold a special Veterans Honoring Ceremony at 2pm on Saturday May 18, 2024, Armed Forces Day, at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site & Museum at 23645 North Carolina Hwy 12, Rodanthe, NC 27968. We're looking to honor and pay tribute to our brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. We are looking for World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans. Hello all! Sundays in December have been a little tough on us! As many of you know this Sunday's forecast looks a little windy, a little rainy, a little everything really (except sunny). So we've decided to reschedule our Sunday market to Wednesday, 12/20.
We're doing all we can to hold one final Soundside Holiday Market (though Earth doesn't seem to want us to!). We simply want to share a little more cheer and merry with you all. So, with all of that said, come see us at the Soundside Event Site on WEDNESDAY, 12/20, to get a little sun and a little shine and a little shopping done with us!
