After three months, I’m happy to be curating this month’s Top 10 again, leaning into the pop girlie zeitgeist with Chappell, Charli, and Billie along with big 2024 hits from Teddy Swims & Artemas (and an obligatory Halloween mashup of “Dragula,” since it was omitted from our just-released Halloween Booootie 11).

We’re also celebrating the fact that our old-school Bo**ie Mashup DJs Party Ben, Lobsterdust, and ShyBoy have all still got it, Linkin Park is back, and then let’s wrap it up with a pair of mashed-up Gen X/Boomer classics from The Cure, The Clash, and The Beatles.

After putting out 10 Halloween Booootie mashup compilations – including 5 in the last 5 years – we were thinking we’d take a break from the annual release schedule and skip a year. But nope!

After hearing and ‘s tracks, we just KNEW we had to have a “Brat Halloween.” Then and .jones released new volumes in their Halloween album series, “Hallowake” and “Nightmash,” respectively, and suddenly, it was ON. Then put out his “Cyberween: 2084” sequel, sent over new stuff, and I also had exclusive tracks made specifically for this album by newcomer DJMickeyJ. Throw in a couple of my own mashups, along with a few other gems, and next thing I knew, there was a 20-track Halloween mixtape that I really didn’t want to edit down to the usual “13 spoopy tracks.” So here you go, our first CD-length Halloween album, with quite a few tricks and treats in the mix!

I just put together the greatest disco & funk mashup set ever for tonight's Bo**ie Mashup collab with Funkytown's 70s Disco & Funk vs 80s New Wave Halloween Dance Party! at Cat Club SF. This week Bo**ie Mashup returns to Wasteland Weekend with Adriana & Jupiter DJing the main stage late night Wednesday & Friday, and the Thunderdome fights on Thursday. These two furious femmes are excited to bring their unique mashup sound to the post-apocalypse. By scavenging the discarded studio stems of millennial pop vocals, then mashing them up over electro, industrial, and darkwave, they craft every DJ set into a stompy, genre-fluid dance party in the dust.
