When founder Ed Marquand retired in 2022, we at Lucia|Marquand were faced with a decision: change the company name to reflect his departure, or maintain it in spite of his absence. The right answer, we realized, was to do both.

Ed’s impact on the museum publishing field has been a tremendous one. In returning our name to Marquand Books, we honor his legacy, and look forward to a future in which we carry it on. Here’s to new projects, old friends, and continued collaboration.
