My first print publication back in 2017 is sort of what started my career as a photographer. I wasn't shooting editorial at the time but was recognized by a local San Diego magazine for some work I did in La Jolla. These were meant to be printed and showcased at the La Jolla Art Museum until I found out they were going to be renovating the whole building.

It gets a little interesting from there. I originally thought I lost these photos when both of my passports crashed in the same month. My 4TB and 10TB decided to call it quits before I could buy another backup. It wasn't until I noticed a miss filed folder on my Dropbox account that I found the original edits sent to the museum for approval.

Even now I'm impressed with the style and vision behind these photos. I wish I could tag the model but it looks like she is off Instagram.
