These games are all getting played tonight, but none of them are being shown live on the TV. Sky Sports, who have the exclusive rights to Scottish football, have decided that providing coverage of Liverpool V Preston on three channels is a more attractive proposition.

Sky Sports need to treat the Scottish game with much more respect.

Football rivalries are thrown out the window when recognising a legend of the game. Walter Smith is one of these legends. Despite managing one half of the Old Firm, he commanded respect from all fans in Scotland. This was not only because of tactical astuteness as a manager, but because he was gentle and kind man. A true legend of the Scottish game. Rest in Peace, Walter.
