Operation Christmas Drop 24 has just 'wrapped up' with crews from the Royal Australian Air Force, U.S. Pacific Air Forces, 航空自衛隊 Japan Air Self-Defense Force, and 대한민국 공군(Republic of Korea Air Force) conducting aerial delivery of humanitarian bundles to remote communities in the Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau, and Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands.

Sunday Spitfire action down under! A pair of Spitfires (VH-A58 and VH-RAF) touch down into Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield this morning, for a breakfast fly in, which delighted the crowds who made the trip from Brisbane and surrounding areas to view them up close.

On September 26, 2024, the last ever KC-10A Extender heads to the boneyard.
We say farewell to the ever popular 'Big Sexy' as the KC-10 was affectionately known (among other names), showing some amazing B-roll footage that's been shot over the years, alongside our own APD encounters with the glorious KC-10 over the last several years.
As always we have to give a special shoutout to all the crews that flew the Extender, especially those we were fortunate to fly alongside with during various exercises around the world.

The Royal Australian Air Force No. 1 Squadron crews certainly put on a spectacular show for Brisbane city today, in preparation for tomorrow evening's Brisbane Festival Riverfire!
The defence action kicks off from 4:55pm Saturday, with the F/A-18F Super Hornet, C-17 Globemaster, and Army Tigers all ready to wow the crowds.

B-2A Spirit arrives at Amberley Air Base
509th and 131st Bomb Wings from Whiteman Air Force Base are continuing to train along side regional counterparts for the U.S. Pacific Air Forces's Bomber Task Force deployment to Royal Australian Air Force base Amberley.
Three aircraft have deployed to Australia and will continue to train alongside Australian Defence Force assets.
