People complain about cultural gatekeeping being weird, but I assert what is weird are folks trying to make excuses for those who exploit and coopt others' culture for financial gain and improved social standing. You defending people who don't care about you, or your culture, makes you look really foolish. And really, you don't just look it, you ARE it.

Look, I know we cannot successfully boycott everything and everyone who is problematic, but I still have a question. I've been wondering for a while, how do the melanin-rich individuals in this country rationalize buying a Tesla? That man boldly talks about y'all and let's you know exactly what he thinks of you, yet y'all run down to buy his little cars, then brag about having one like it's a status symbol, when you shoud be embarrassed you spent your money to help a man who doesn't like you stay wealthy. Help me understand. Thx.

Sometimes, I mull over the good times, positive experiences, and comfortable confidence I could have had if not for the cumbersome, guilt-laden, shame machine that was organized religion. Imagine something that claims to represent freedom being a constant source of oppression, a conduit for guilt, and a perpetuator of low self-worth.

I'm asking you all to respect the seriousness of this oppression. This is so disrespectful. High temperatures here are normal, but we don't usually have a week and a half of consecutive 100+ degree days. I hope everyone who wants it, has protection from this heat.

Y'all remember when previews before a movie were about ten minutes long? It's been 25 from start time and the film is just beginning. That's too long. We need movie theater DVR.

You don't always have to tell folks your thoughts, especially when they didn't ask, they don't know you, and what you're saying is ashy anyway. Go drink some lotion.

A lot of y'all are joining a conversation that isn't for you, so take this opportunity to learn how to mind and manage the business that pays you.

If you want to feel needed by a woman, ask her what it is she needs. It really is that simple. Don't demand to be needed AND demand what the needs for you to fulfill should be. None of this works like that. #tdjakes #relationships
