The Everest Show : Ropes have supposedly been cut on Mt Everest to hinder more summits, Nimsdai claims it's sabotage directed towards him
It started on Sunday when Nirmal “Nims” Purja posted a video on’X’ claiming that someone had cut a line of fixed ropes set up by his expedition company, Elite Exped. That would be a major problem, as many expeditions share the ropes to take clients up the Himalayan mountain.
“I have lived with disgusting and dirty politics and tactics since 2019 simply because I have disrupted the industry and been extremely successful!” Purja said in the video. “People are always trying to bring me down!”
Soon after, other expeditions reported that the ropes were still in place, allowing them to reach the summit. Within a day, the Nepalese Government’s tourism department announced on investigation into Purja for “disseminating misinformation with the intention of getting popularity.”
A spokesperson for Purja said on Tuesday that he would release a statement once everyone in his team had safely descended the mountain !!

Streetlights were swaying and parked vehicles were shaking due to the 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Taiwan at around 8 AM on Wednesday, as seen in these videos in Miaoli, Taiwan.
This earthquake is the strongest to hit Taiwan since 1999, triggering tsunami warnings as far as the Philippines and Japan.
As of now according to Taiwan news sources , nine people were reported dead, more than 900 were injured, and over 50 people were trapped in damaged buildings, tunnels, and hiking trails.

A Broken Dream : Increasing numbers of Nepalese immigrants living in the U.S. city of New York are facing homelessness due to unable to receive vital government , assistance, no help from nonprofit Nepali organizations and low paying jobs , rental prices skyrocket. many Nepalese immigrants struggle to get back on their feet in New York City !!
Also , Many other immigrants falls through the cracks due to after formerly working in hard-hit industries — such as restaurants, hospitality or construction — and the lack of income has impacted their ability to afford food and rent, pushing some out of their homes !!
According to a recent New York City report, there are approximately 476,000 unauthorized immigrants in the city. The Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs estimated in the report that 60 percent of unauthorized workers have already lost their job or are at risk of losing their job during the pandemic, compared to 36 percent of all workers.
The poverty rate for unauthorized immigrants in the city is 29.2 percent, higher than the 27 percent poverty rate for green card holders and migrants with other statutes, according to the report. The poverty rate for the U.S. born in New York is 20 percent.
Immigrants in the country illegally can’t access stimulus help or unemployment benefits even if they pay taxes. Some cities and states have, however, pushed efforts to help.

A Nepali sherpa who was helping a client conquer Mount Everest stopped the trip to save a distressed climber in an area known as the mountain’s “death zone.”
The sherpa, named Gelje, is an indigenous guide who helps adventurists as they climb mountains towering thousands of feet into the air.
Gelje was climbing the 29,000-foot mountain on May 18 and had reached the 27,230 mark.
The man, a climber from Malaysia, was “about to die,” according to Mr. Sherpa
He was found shivering due to extremely cold temperatures. In the death zone, temperatures can be as low as negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit. According to the outlet, other climbers and guides were hesitant to stop and help due to the altitude and the location of the rescue . Watch this heart wrenching video !!

The recent furore media houses created around HH the Dalai Lama’s gestures of affection towards an Indian boy has disturbed many people on both sides of those criticising and defending the action. Understandably, many Buddhists are upset mainly by the excessive reaction to HH's genuine expression of affection, which was misconstrued as 'molestation' by many around the world although it was an appropriate gesture in his own culture.
In the true spirit of what HH teaches, we must take this as an opportunity to learn and become better.

The Dalai Lama apologized after a video of him kissing a young boy on the lips and asking him to ‘suck my tongue’ drew significant criticism online.
The video was reportedly filmed on February 28 in the Dalai Lama's temple in Dharamshala, India.
In the video, the young boy can be seen approaching the 87-year-old Buddhist leader and asking him for a hug. The Dalai Lama calls the boy up to the platform he is on, then motions to his cheek, saying, ‘First here.’ The boy kisses him on the cheek. The Dalai Lama then says, ‘I think here also,’ while gesturing to his lips. The leader proceeds to kiss the boy on the mouth. The Dalai Lama then puts his forehead against the boy’s forehead and says, ‘And suck my tongue,’ while proceeding to stick out his tongue. The boy sticks out his tongue before pulling away.
The video has sparked outrage online, with many social media users condemning the Buddhist leader’s actions and some calling it ‘disgusting’ and ‘abusive,‘ according to NPR.
The Dalai Lama’s office issued a statement apologizing for the incident, claiming that it was ‘innocent.’ The statement reads, ‘His Holiness wishes to apologize to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.
