We know we’re sexy but it’s difficult in an inaccessible world to always look cute!
Earlier this year, I attended The Big Event in Birmingham to find my next WAV. I had so many questions because I wanted to change vehicles and how I store my powerchair but didn’t want to have multiple demos at home, so attending the Big Event was amazing.
I spoke with so many suppliers who answered all my questions, gave me lots of information, and put my mind at ease. I’m now in the process of ordering my next Motability Scheme WAV. The next event is Edinburgh and I highly recommend The Big Event to anyone who is choosing their next vehicle, as there are so many to choose from under one roof. It is an awesome event!
You can find all the details about the event here https://motabilityonebigday.co.uk/the-big-event-edinburgh/
I’ve ordered my new powerchair today from Millercare Mobility Specialists - the guys there are awesome, can’t recommend them enough, and I can’t wait to get my new wheels!
Thank you so much to everyone that donated and supported me, you’ve been amazing, and I couldn’t have done it without you ❤️
Things not to say to a wheelchair user: ‘It’s not like the lift is broken on purpose.’
🤦🏻♀️
Last night I hit my target of £13k for my new powerchair!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I can’t quite believe it. Thank you to everyone that donated and supported me. I am finally going to get some wheels that will be comfortable and reliable. Yesss 👩🏻🦼❤️🫶🏻
It’s #InternationalWheelchairDay and I usually celebrate it but can’t this year because my current wheelchair is broken and not giving me the freedom and independence I rightfully deserve.
Please help me raise the funds to get the new wheels to live my life.

Fundraising for this powerchair has been one of the toughest things I have done mentally. I am still £6k away from my target, and my current chair is falling apart, my independence slipping away, and my mental health being massively impacted.
Please donate if you can, and if not, please share, it literally takes a second to share - gofundme.com/f/sarah87
This is not exclusive to rich men but anyone that would like to donate as I really need a new powerchair as mine is broken and dangerous to use!
I’m losing hope and still need to raise £6.5k so I’ve taken to ‘dancing’ online in the hopes to raise funds for my new wheels. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ambulatory wheelchair users exist!
No matter whether I’m using a mobility aid or not, I am still disabled.
Carers are EVERYTHING!
Carers are vital for doing things non-disabled people may consider simple. My bf does SO much for me and I’m forever grateful!

My reality isn’t pretty pictures
You only see a small snapshot of my day, it isn’t my reality.
With the new symptoms I have been experiencing, I initially wanted to wait until that was treated or I felt like I did when I used to post regularly; still chronically ill but able to go out every so often and not spending the majority of my time really struggling. The chronic conditions I already have are bad enough but this new thing on top of all that is debilitating.
I decided to start posting again before treatment (if there is treatment), before I know what’s going on and actually show what my life is like; not just pretty clothes and cute hats.
So, this is me.
