mselves. Its pages have neither room for artificial conceptualisms nor for anything that pretends to be something it will never be. We want to present a less sharp and dark image with some soul on it rather than a thousand images whose content is shallow or hollow though it may present the ultimate techniques. As far as the world of fashion, culture, music and cinema is concerned, whenever it’s possible, we’ll do our best to stress out the things and people we believe to be the rising icons of a new society that tends to break down the prejudices of the current and dying one. 1stmag assumes the fault and naïveté - typical of imperfection - as a part of a harmony born from chaos. We don’t want to define or impose rules in order to create trends, as we believe that for a person to be truly genuine he has to create, define and act within his own rules; we will distinguish the personalities that stick to their principles, but if those principles touch a chord, we’ll applaud the fact that the most attractive beauty is the one that reflects the inner side and coexists with sensitivity and intelligence. We don’t like false modesty but we also don’t call for obscenity. We like ties gestures, clumsiness and value gender equality as well as unisex fashion. The nudes of our pages are not taboo and will never be tasteless or insulting. 1stmag doesn’t want to show art through nudity; nudity is part of our intimacy, not a sin, and to us it is also the expression of art by the universe itself. Something that, if there is a God somewhere, brings us closer to Him. An intimacy that most of us would like to be able to share with no fear of prejudice or disapproving looks. We will do our best to make room in our magazine for those who see themselves in our style and decide to share with us their images, their creations as long as it matches the magazine’s identity. We will be selfish and stubborn as to what we won’t live without and that is the pleasure of a total dedication as we want this magazine to reach our readers the same way it got out of the souls of those who worked with us so that, number after number, the magazine can conquer its place in the world.
