Hey there! So, let me tell you about how we met. We actually met at work, where I had been serving (NYSC), and it was his first job. To be honest, our first encounter wasn’t very exciting. But, since I’m a pretty friendly person, I decided to make the first move and say hello when he arrived. And guess what? Our first conversation was pretty clichéd, but it was still a great start to our friendship!

Our first real conversation was about music, and it really clicked for us. I remember he was listening to an unpopular song, so I was curious and asked him about his musical taste. He shared that he liked unusual music, and I was thrilled to find someone who shared my taste. We started exchanging songs on Skype (yes, we were using office resources to “connect”, lol) and realised we had so much in common. We exchanged numbers and continued the conversation on WhatsApp. The rest is history, as they say.

PS: We even shared our favourite wedding songs (even though we had no idea we’d be getting married to each other back then!).

A tale of true love
Well here is our story 🥰
It started even way before we were born😂. Our Fathers were best of friends before they got married, our mothers too 🤭
But it took us almost 2 decades to meet 😅.
Looking back now, it was worth the wait!!
We met in Abuja in 2017 and knew we would get married 😅😅
Well we kick started our relationship on the 18 of October 2017 and on that day, we said our vows…..
In no time we had to be apart for school and work purposes, quickly realised UK and Nigeria has so many seas in between 😅😂

Now 6 years and 3 months after, we’re going to say this vow again in the presence of God, our family and our friends 🥹
It’s been a long time coming, and now, we can barely wait to start our forever😊❤️
