Meet Dimakatso Chauke
27 year-old vocalist Dimakatso Chauke, known affectionately by her fans as Dimakatso, was born and raised in Tembisa and spent her early childhood years in the township of Phomolong. Growing up in a
warm and supportive household, she began schooling in Phomolong Primary before progressing to Phomolong Secondary; and this was when her love for music began.
Like most artists, Dimakatso began exploring her vocal capabilities and singing at church, before taking her passion for singing seriously and working with well-known artists and producers in the music industry.
While growing and learning the skill of song writing, she was spotted by Shining Stars
