We created this site to provide actual citizen oversight to the local governments within Washington County, MN. Hear about what's happening in the latest county board, public school board and city council meetings. This is a place where concerned taxpayers can get informed and inform others. We are not paid to do this. We don't represent any political party. We keep all sides in check. The local g
overnment and media rarely question the spending and primarily focus on the things the project will provide to the public. We respect that a variety of opinions exist on issues and generally will openly allow civil discussion to occur. Should your comments or post contain profanity or not stay on topic discussions they may be deleted. The most severe cases will result in being immediately banned and repeated actions will result in being banned. We do allow criticism of currently elected officials or those seeking office to occur. Our hope is that this will give a better informed public knowledge of their representatives and their actions. Similar comments toward family of public officials/candidates, people commenting on topics posted or directed at moderators of the page have a higher level of scrutiny and unless they pose great public interest they will be removed as well. Accounts not using a legitimate organizations name or person will be banned from posting.
