(1/2) “One reason why I became a hall monitor at Four Corners was because I needed a job. Before here I was a license insurance agent, I have been doing that for 23 years and I am still doing that until this day. Some of my greatest memories for me is just coming here to try to make a difference with you guys, of course us counselors in the hallway love helping you guys out, you guys have a lot of dialogue with me in the hallway so it’s a little assistance I can give you guys to help you guys out,” Mr. Young said

“My dad is the reason that I got into karate in the first place. Some things that I learned in karate have come from other life experiences during that time. Such as when I first joined the tournament team, that had basically taught me how to be more confident and of course, be loud, and leadership skills. When I started getting higher in belt level, and I actually started mentoring, that taught me about mentoring other people, especially younger kids like five, seven, even three years old. The main thing that we’ve always encouraged and had basically said is that you are not going to advance if you don’t practice,” said junior Rea Pallares

(1/2) "I would say my biggest accomplishment in life would have to be probably making it on to the competition portion of the competition team at my dance studio. Being able to learn and grow from all of these new people that I’ve met and being able to go to different conventions and competitions. Taking classes from teachers that I haven’t done a class with before and really like, letting myself grow as a person and a dancer. Dance just improves me, myself, my mental attitude, and just everything. It’s also sometimes my escape. Realistically it’s my second home," said sophomore Gwenyth Underhill
