Datatone was founded in 2013 by Joe Kalicki and his collaborator Michael Smith with the intention to enlighten the world to unique visual expressions and electronically created experimental sounds. We also strive to assist those who release their art into the infinite depths of the internet find a place and a collective of sound and visual artists where they feel they belong and are appreciated. ur philosophy is that unique and unbound creation and expression should be rewarded as the music scenes of the world are cluttered with endless repetition and imitation. Free-from-boundaries, improvisational expression allows one to try and reach the purest forms of art that exist.
