We use whatever social media platform is most comfortable to us, we follow trends, we mostly try to find our tribe. Looks like Vulkan's Hammer is live!

This was a painful journey, one I'm still on. That whole let go and let God thing is super difficult. I have this ego and stubbornness that I struggle with every day on this front. Then, I'm reminded that I'm "doing it again", I'm taking control. The second I acknowledge that, a shift occurs.

I don't now what else ro relate the release of weight this has, it's like when I was going through AA and Celebrate Recovery (link to page) and finally admitted that first step- that I was powerless, something changed inside me, my whole mindset, the weight was gone.

Need help to cut alcohol out of your life, or even just small things that hang you up?

For me, it was all about a Jesus spin on the AA program. Let's stop talking about an ambiguous "Higher Power" and acknowledge who that is, Jesus. Let him fix the broken stuff that leads you to drink, thank you, Celebrate Recovery!

Calm Meditation, Control: Want to have real control? Drop the illusion of control. This is so good. Lately, I have set a series of actions in motion with business partners, and it was so reassuring to be reminded that they are their own people, looking out for their own best interests, and that's ok. We found out yesterday that a dental procedure we had done for Zeek is not covered by Medical Insurance as we had expected and we will be paying 25k for it, unless our appeal is granted. Just a friendly reminder to all of you to make sure you check with medical coverage prior to any procedures... it seems we're learning this lesson the hard way. :(
