A tragic accident near Karsaz, Karachi, claimed the lives of a father and daughter when a speeding Land Cruiser struck multiple motorcyclists before crashing into a car. The incident occurred on a service road in Bahadurabad, resulting in the deaths of Imran Arif and his daughter, Amna, while four others sustained injuries.
Imran and Amna were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by the vehicle. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle was completely destroyed, and the car involved was also heavily damaged. Miraculously, a young man inside the car survived.
Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of the Land Cruiser, identified as Natasha, attempted to flee the scene but lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into another car and overturn.
Natasha, who holds a British driving license and is the wife of Gul Ahmed Energy CEO Danish Iqbal, was apprehended by police and Rangers after bystanders surrounded her.
Natasha, a resident of KDA Scheme One, was reportedly under severe mental stress following the accident, and witnesses claimed she was intoxicated at the time.
She told authorities that she lost control of the vehicle, leading to the crash. Her husband joined her at the police station during the investigation.
The deceased, Imran Arif, was a well-known resident of Scheme 33, where he sold traditional snacks. He was returning home with his daughter Amna, who worked at a private company and was pursuing an MBA.
The tragic loss has deeply affected the community, as Imran leaves behind two other daughters and a son. The police are continuing their investigation as the community mourns the untimely deaths of Imran and Amna.
