MUKUR is a Magazine Initiative. Our breadth of work doesn't get restricted to only publishing magazines of various sorts. The society, at any point of time, is liable to various sorts of assessments. Mukur attempts to gauge the Social, Political and Cultural scenario of the present Indian Society in its own way. It widens its scope of work by inviting the writings of budding student writers on iss
ues of their personal interest. It also welcomes the sketches and paintings of the artists, which it promises to publish in its magazine, or online, or at a poster and painting exhibition. The idea of MUKUR was conceived by the students of Jadavpur University. But we want to knit a well fabricated network with the students of other colleges of Kolkata, so that we could become vocal on the issues of our common concern. We wish to have more keen members in our magazine initiative so that the dream which we have seen together could materialize in its supreme form. Regards : MUKUR
