TODAY WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! if you’ve been following my stories (check now bc they’ll disappear soon!) aside from frolicking around castles in tulle gowns, I’ve been knee deep in home renovations *okay there may still be some frolicking* 🤩🚜🔨This week has been filled with driveway designs and demo work to prep for the big event, and today, we POURED the driveway!! To say I am excited and soooo proud of how it turned out is quite the understatement! It’s been a *big dream* of mine for the house and it’s so fulfilling and amazing to finally see it completed! Tmrw we remove the framing, I’ll post updates on my stories and share my thoughts on how I want to reimagine the gardens and gingerbread trim 🥰👌🏽 oh and yea here’s an absolutely unrelated photo 🙃

BLUE & YELLOW 🌊💛🐚 are the reigning colors of the original, hand painted mural by local artist Barbara Gelardi in hidden grotto.

Inspired by and titled "The Triple Goddess", the goddess is surrounded by historically sacred flora from around the world and brings nurturing, feminine energy, sensuality, fertility, knowledge and beauty into the castle, all the same emotions and energy I hope to evoke in my styling + photography 💙😌✨

I discovered hand painted grottos hidden amongst royal gardens, pools, and breathtaking hilltop views 💛💙 this is my first time exploring St. Croix’s very own , originally built by Bulgarian Contessa Nadia Farber, with majestic Moorish architecture that somehow reminds me of the soft inside of a seashell - the perfect inspiration for a Caribbean castle 🐚

Tmrw I’ll be sharing more detailed pics and of course a glimpse of the inside of this grotto - you won’t want to miss this hand painted beauty! 🤍
