A moment for the jacket pleaseee ✨🙌🏼 This custom jacket was created by and has been a labour of love as we’ve spent most of the year talking about it, designing it and tweaking it and it turned out to be just as beautiful as I’d hoped it would be! Swipe >> for all the close up details.

I knew I wanted it to be a keepsake and something I could also wear again after the tour. I also knew I wanted it to have each era represented on there so once TTPD was announced we had to make sure that got a spot! On the from we have some Ivy (from one of my favourite evermore songs), a mirrorball, a number 13, hand heart & a lyric “long live all the magic we made” from Long Live of course ✨ I absolute ADORE it and it will forever remind me of this special summer of The Eras Tour! Thank you 🫶🏻

“Hello, all. Or should I say Dearest Gentle Readers?” 📖🪶 So, have you all finished Part 2 of Bridgerton yet?? Ngl I binged the whole second part last Thursday because I just found it so addictive!! I absolutely loved the development of Colin and Penelope in this series. Colin was never my favourite Bridgerton in the earlier series but his character grew on me a lot. Pen however was always one of my favourites and she really stepped into her iconic Queen eras this series, it made me so happy! The drama of this whole series kept me on the edge of my seat. I was very intrigued as to what they’d do with Lady Whistledown, the reveal and the fallout, I really enjoyed that whole storyline!

I know they have changed quite a lot from the books (I’ve only read the first 2 so far so don’t know what the changes were) and what appears to be changes going forward i.e. Francesca’s storyline which some people don’t seem happy about but I’m here for it. If you’ve read the books let me know in the comments if you have different feelings on it though!

Chichester Cathedral Festival of Flowers 2024 🌺🪻🌼🌷

This flower festival is put on once every two years and features truly stunning artistic floral installations. It’s something my Mum and I always like to attend if we can. The theme this year is Creation. A broad theme that they have explored in a variety of ways throughout the Cathedral. I loved the areas with the planets and the one with animals but my favourite was the installation with carts full of flowers (slide 2).

The festival goes on until Saturday the 8th of June. So grab tickets whilst you can.

WELL. What an absolute WEEKEND it has been to be a Swiftie! A double album?! 31 new songs?! Music Video! The lyrics!! WTF?!!! The quill pen slayed 🗡️ As you probably saw on my stories I was deeply unwell on Friday after what I heard. So much to unpack here but I had a bit of breakthrough yesterday in fathoming the majority of these songs and exactly what she’s saying.

Preparing to enter my Tortured Poets era 🪶📖

Well helloooo! I know it’s been a while but life’s been a lot lately and I haven’t really been going out to create content plus it hasn’t really felt right or authentic to be posting as usual on my feed although I’ve still been active on stories here and there and of course doing our weekly movie nights. I am hoping to get back to creating more regularly again but it might be a little different to how I did things before to make it more sustainable for me and my health. I hope you’ll want to stick around though, I love interacting with you all and this community we’ve built means a lot to me.

SO obviously the main reason I’m posting today is because tomorrow is a big moment for the Swiftie history book as The Tortured Poets Department is being released! Taylor’s 11th studio album. I don’t think I’ve ever anticipated a TS album as much in my life before and I’m both excited & absolutely terrified about the journey this album is going to take us on tomorrow. I just know TTPD is going to absolutely wreck me, and I can’t wait! 😂🕯️

Which songs are you most excited to hear? I’m finding it hard to pick as they all have THE most offensive titles but I think I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, So Long, London, Fresh Out of The Slammer, Clara Bow and the title track TTPD are all up there for me! 🤍

Apparently my new year starts in February 🎉🩷 My first post of the year, I figured it was about time! As a lot of you know 2023 was a difficult year and January of this year has also been tough for my family and I as my Mum is really sick. I am hopeful though that things can only got upwards from here! I’ve got a feeling February is going to be a better month. Not least because the Eras tour is back and an imminent announcement of Rep TV pending?! 🖤🐍

A Nutcracker Christmas at Nymans 🎄❤️ My one and only festive outing before I became ill this month was to visit Nymans to see their Christmas displays which, this year, is Nutcracker themed. With giant nutcrackers, candy canes and a sleigh throughout the gardens and inside the house they have a display of costumes from Matthew Bournes Nutcracker ballet as well as ‘The Land of Sweets’ sweetie banquet! 🍬 It was absolutely amazing to see it all and I think my favourite Christmas display I’ve seen there yet. It runs until January 1st if you want to go and take a look.

Is all your Christmas wrapping done? 🎁 I really enjoyed wrapping my presents this year. I’m one of those strange people who find it quite therapeutic! I used this style of printed brown paper wrapping that I always use now, which is recyclable and although I didn’t have a lot of gifts to wrap this year, I put on some Christmas music and it really helped to get me feeling festive.

I’m looking forward to a couple of little Friendmas get togethers over the next few days with some festive food 🎄🍷

Imagining myself as the main character in my very own Christmas movie like 🎄🎁 This photo was shot a couple of Christmases ago but I don’t think I ever shared it.

I’ve been struggling to get myself in the Christmas spirit at all this year to be honest with you. Which isn’t like me. Not only has this year not been a great one overall but I’ve spent most of this month ill and haven’t done anything christmassy at all! I am hoping to exchange some gifts with friends later this week so hopefully that will help spark a little Christmas magic! ✨ I do enjoy wrapping presents for people & listening to Christmas music. I want to try and make time to bake some gingerbread cookies as well.

Cold December Nights ☕️🎄 I’ve been saving most of my favourite Christmas movies for our Sunday night AKCinema watch parties so outside of that I’ve been watching a few rogue options. Whilst Mean Girls may not be your typical festive film it does have this iconic Jingle Bell Rock moment in there so I always have to include it in my line up! Also the Mean Girls movie musical is out next and I am beyond excited!

For AKCinema this Sunday we’re watching The Holiday which is hands down my favourite Christmas movie and probably in my top 10 movies in general! ❄️ We’ve already done The Grinch, Noelle, Home Alone 1&2 this season. I’m currently getting over the most hideous cold so I’m going to snuggle up and watch Elf maybe this evening and I think I might save Love Actually for Christmas Eve.

As I haven’t really managed to get out to shoot autumn content this year (mainly due to my health and the poor weather) I thought I would share some of my favourite autumnal shots from previous seasons before I start on Christmas content. My sister and I have become a bit obsessed with and this box of their Autumn Specials has definitely been our favourite! They were: Salted Maple Creme Brûlée, Carrot Cake, Pumpkin Pie and Apple Crumble all with delicious fillings. My ideal snack to have whilst settling down and watching an episode of Gilmore Girls!

Cosy is really the only mood I can embrace right now with the weather being so atrocious and I’m enjoying autumn nights snuggled up under my blankets, a pumpkin candle burning & choosing between something to watch or an audiobook to listen to 🎬📚🎧

Slow October Days 🤍 Give me a good book, a walk in nature and a pretty dress, in this case by and I’m happy. Autumn has definitely arrived a little late this year but I haven’t minded because I too feel like I’ve been constantly playing catch up this year!

I hope you guys are all doing well. As you know, this year I’ve been on struggle street and I am still working on creating content consistently and being present for you on here at the moment but I’ll get there. In the meantime I am on stories and, if you’ve been watching them, you may have seen I have been to see The Eras Tour Movie (3 times!) and it is SO INSANE!! I’ve watched so many Tik Toks and livestreams but nothing does the scale, the visuals and watch Taylor’s doing for 3 hours any kind of justice. I seriously cannot wait to be in a stadium next year watching that show live. It’s a lot to think about! 🤩🎇✨Did you get to go see the Eras Tour Movie in the cinema?

I know we’re all getting hyped up for 1989 TV Era, which I am of course incredibly excited for as it is also my birth year, but I simply cannot move on from Speak Now just yet!! 🫶🏻 My OG stan album and those vault tracks are the most incredible collection of vault tracks we’ve got so far imo, they are actually so superior and everyone needs to appreciate that! 😂🏰 Let me know your favourite vault track? My top 2 are Timeless and I Can See You but they’re kind of impossible to rank I feel!

Golden Hour Glow ✨ I know we’re technically in autumn now but I still have a couple of more summery type posts left from when I wasn’t able to shoot over the summer months. It was so nice to go out with the camera again!

It’s been quite the year, struggling a lot with both my physical and my mental health plus my Mum’s health issues too. 2023 really has been a lot of a year!

I don’t really know what I’m doing at the moment (on here and in general!) so please bear with me. At the moment I’m hoping to get back to posting 1-2 times a week and I have a couple of blog posts I’m working on as well. In the meantime I’m still on stories quite regularly- mostly posting Taylor Swift and cat content because those are the 2 things keeping me going! 😻✌🏻

Postcards from Portlet Suite at 📸

It feels completely surreal that I was here just over 2 months ago. This was a high point in a year that has been full of unexpected new health difficulties & anxiety. Even at the time Mum and I were practically crying when we finally made it to our beloved hotel! We’re certainly never ever going to take it for granted. Thank you again to everyone for all the love and messages of support you sent my family and I whilst my Mum was in hospital this month. At such a worrying & stressful time is really meant the world 🥹💙💙💙

Although Speak Now was the re-record I was most excited for, 1989 holds many memories from back when it was originally released and a special place in my heart. Not least because it was the year I was born too so that makes it extra special and remains my excuse for buying up all the merch!
