What is the following personality traits meant for you; ID, EGO and SUPEREGO.
Psychoanalytic Theory is the one formulated by Sigmund Freud. He defines personality development through three different levels or structures: Id, Ego and Superego. Id is the unconscious, instinctual pleasure principle that can satisfy the needs of the individual. It involves immediate satisfaction. Ego is like a growing child. It can be the secondary thought that one has to deal with in the external world. It works on the reality principle. Super Ego is the third set of forces that works on morality principles.
