First show is COPENHELL on June 21st!
TERMINALIST VERSION 2.0
The time has come to unveil the new Terminalist live lineup. Iâm proud to announce this constellation of highly experienced and skilled people from the Danish metal and hardcore scene. With musical backgrounds ranging from progressive rock to technical death metal and hardcore punk, each member brings their own distinct approach and attack to the Terminalist sound. The result is a unit of sheer hyperthrashing force.
Our first show takes place on Friday June 21st, exactly one month from now, at the Gehenna stage at COPENHELL. Weâre on at 1300.

To us as a label, one of the yearly key festivals in our native Denmark is the immaculate A Colossal Weekend. New Terminalist show in Copenhagen announced đ„
Terminalist will play an exclusive support show for Unto Others alongside Danish horror-rockers Archangel at Spillestedet Stengade on August 1st.
With their NWOBHM-infused gothic rock, Unto Others are one of the most significant bands to rise out of the scene in recent years. Their debut album âManaâ stands to me personally as one of the best metal-adjacent releases in the past decade or so, and their songwriting, sound, and often depressive lyrical subjects have had a profound influence on my own songwriting, evident in tracks like âLast Remainsâ and âEstranged Reflectionâ. So Iâm proud to announce that we will share the stage with them at their first Danish club show.

An important update from Terminalist đ„
Terminalist is now a one-man project.
It should be no secret that creating âThe Crisis as Conditionâ was incredibly tough. High expectations, time pressure, disagreements, frustrations, mental health issues, and an insane amount of stress all played a part in the making of this album. It took its toll on everyone in the band and in the end, there was no way out but to split.
So, we did. After playing the album release show in September 2023, we went our separate ways with me remaining as the sole member of the band.
Iâm aware that thereâs a major irony in the fact that making an album about our contemporary crisis society itself sparked a crisis that tore the band apart. And for a while, I thought about letting it go, giving up, quitting. But doing so would not just seem like a bad way to finish these past years of intense work, it would also be a betrayal of the philosophy of the latest album and of my own convictions.
âThe Crisis as Conditionâ is not just about the crises we face on different levels. Itâs also about navigating said crises, finding a way to cope with them despite bleak prospects. To find the seed in the mold of despair, as itâs stated at the end of the record.
Crises donât just tear down, they also present a vacuum, a liminal space, in which something different or new, for better or worse, can take place.
So, Iâm keeping it moving. Terminalist is still raging.
In the near future, a new live lineup will be presented, merch will drop, and shows will be announced. Stay tuned.

The sigil is inspired by the alchemical symbol for Mercury, a substance believed to transcend life and death due to its paradoxical nature, being neither liquid nor solid matter. The upwards motion represents ascension, as the spirit leaves its earthly confines to begin its voyage towards the beyond. ORM - Trance/Floden, som kan lede On September 30th 2022, Danish black metal band ORM will release its third album âIntet âą Altetâ via Indisciplinarian. âIntet âą Altetâ (âThe Nothing âą The Allâ) is a double album once again expanding on ORMs epic and visionary black metal via a narrative about four life phases unfolded over four grandiose compositions with a total running time of 92 minutes. âIntet âą Altetâ tackles the four stages of life, inspired by the bandâs own progression â personally and musically. Each of the four compositions centers around a distinct life stage â the fiery youth, the burdened adult, the ascetic hermit, and finally the ascension into the next realm. The lyrics are inspired by the psalms and legends that mark the passage between the life stages, and ultimately the inevitable passage from life to death. Todayâs the band shares a third visualizer excerpt from the albumâs third composition âTrance/Floden, som kan ledeâ (Trance/The river, that can lead), on which violinist Nils Gröndahl contributes. After the two first compositions describing the life phases of youth and adulthood respectively, the third composition revolves around old age. Its finally happening! Today, the vinyl edition of ANTI RITUAL - Expel The Leeches arrived at the office. It looks and feels absolutely awesome, and its a great feeling seeing the album finally materializing physically, almost 8 months after it was sent off to the pressing plant.
