There was once a man who said to me "you ever see that show with The Rock, Ballers"?
And I said, no. He then reminded me that I should check it out, mold my attitude a little after the main character, and things will happen.
I watched the show. Spencer Strasmore and Joe Coutell had a tumultuous relationship. One of them would have crazy ideas, the other one would be more logical. But nearly every single time they got themselves in a situation it always worked out for the best possible outcome.
•
At first I didn't understand how I was supposed to be like the main character. I watch a lot of cinematics and television productions so I look at the basis for what it means to be a main character, in my opinion is different than others.
I would argue it will Spencer and Joe are both main characters.
•
I now understand more than ever, and I think it took me too long.
Not everybody's going to see your vision. But sometimes it's better to just do what you got to do and ask for forgiveness later, rather than ask permission, risk rejection, and never finding out what happens.
•
In this industry, I have made a lot of mistakes. There's always been one guy that has tried to have my back even when I didn't deserve it. Actually multiple people have had my back when I didn't deserve it.
Because the lessons that had to be learned, were mine to learn on my own.
•
I will never be a Spencer, or a Joe. What I can be is the best Brandon that I possibly.
And if I could use one word to describe myself, it would be 'Maverick'.
•
Major shout out to everyone who ever taught me a lesson, listened to my rants, watched me get up when I fell, and never once gave up.

• This isn't a clout post, or a hashtag post. This is a me speaking my mind post.
There are many days that I want to give up, sell my s**t, and live a minimalist life. No wrestling, no music, no bulls**t. But the gravitational pull keeps cooling me down, and pulling me back in.
• I never once asked to be a part of any of this. It all just kind of fell in my lap. I was blessed with the musical gift to be able to write and articulate my feelings and emotions on paper, and put them with rhythms and melodies to make some of the most bomb-ass music you'll ever hear.
• I didn't ask to be a part of professional wrestling, by God's gracious gift and a perfectly timed invitation, I got to be a part of it. Now, for 15 years in wrestling, and 20 years in music, It has become part of who I am.
• Both of those things take up a good majority of the time that I have spent on this Earth. Most days I want to give up both and just walk away. I want to sell all of my musical instruments, I want to sell anything wrestling related, and I just want to go to my regular job and come home. That's it, nothing more nothing less.
• Sometimes, You get a phone call or a text, sometimes you go outside and touch grass, sometimes you talk to God. But you're constantly reminded of where you need to be, and that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
•
• Don't ever let that doubt creep in, and don't ever give up. You are who you are for a reason.
