I finally got around to doing an actual summer piece!! I’m super happy how this came out, especially for challenging myself to make something more Illustrative 💕💕. This was really fun and a great start to attempting Splash Art as I get better as an artist.

Background on my idea: The king is one of the most important pieces in chess, though not as powerful as his Queen 🔮counterpart. However (in my fantasy world) the King is more then capable with holding his own. If anyone dare to fight him and topple his throne they are in for a fight, for his crown is not easily taken⚔️. If not for the kings bravery and courage to his people, his followers would not follow him and his Queen with such a loyal nature; And a King would want to protect his people for all they are worth🏰. Because if the King was to ever surrender or lose that would bring his kingdom to ruin 🗡and that’s not something to be taken lightly.
