On the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Irish State, Id like to share two videos we produced on this topic. Many in the west have suggested that Ukraine cannot win the war against Russia. Instead, Ukraine should trade land for peace. Often this suggestion is made without consulting Ukrainians on what they actually want. Ukrainian scholar Halyna Herasym explains why her country wishes to fight on and why it can win against Russia. This is the third in our series of interviews about the Ukraine war.

On this episode of Coffee at Wynns we speak to Brendan O'Neil, retired Lance Sergeant in the Royal Irish Guards. Over the course of his 24 year career Brendan has fulfilled various functions through the Guards, including being a member of the Queens Guard at Buckingham Palace and seeing deployment to Iraq in 2003. Brendan shares his experiences as well as some insight into the history and composition of the "Micks".
