३० वर्षीय धर्म खत्रीले दुई दिनअघि आफ्नो टिकटक अकाउन्टमा यस्तै स्टाटस राखेका थिए- दुर्भाग्य! उनै खत्रीको बिहीबार मोटरसाइकल दुर्घटनामा मृत्यु भएको छ।

‘एक दिन मेरो ठूलो एक्सिडेन्ट होस्। म जीवन र मृत्युसँग लडिरहँदा मलाई हस्पिटल पुर्‍याउने जिम्मा तिमीलाई दिइयोस्। अनि तिमीसँग डाक्टरले भनोस् कि आइएम सरी, मैले हजुरको मान्छे बचाउन सकिनँ। तब तिमीलाई मेरो मायाको आभास हुनेछ र म सदाका लागि निदाउनेछु।’दुई दिनअघि आफ्नो टिकटक अकाउन्टमा यस्तै भिडिओ राखेका थिए- बाजुराको बडिमालिका नगरपालिका-७ निवासी ३० वर्षीय धर्म खत्रीले। दुर्भाग्य! उनै खत्रीको बिहीबार मोटरसाइकल दुर्घटनामा मृत्यु भएको छ।

ICT Awards 2024 has concluded. Awards were given in 15 different categories and ‘recognition’ to the best startups from all seven provinces. The ICT Awards were distributed amidst a grand ceremony organized at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu in the presence of more than a thousand distinguished personalities. Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi S***a Gurung, who was present as the chief guest at the awards, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp through digital technology.

Ncell Woman Icon was received by Bandana Sharma, Head of Digital Banking and Cards Department of Nepal Bank. Similarly, the Professional Excellence Icell ICT Award was received by Dr. Bishesh Khanal, founder of the prestigious Icell ICT Award. The Entrepreneurs ICT Award was received by Manohar Adhikari, founder of Foodmandu, and the Nepali Diaspora ICT Award was received by Nami Baral, co-founder of Neural Company.

This year's InDrive Startup ICT Award was won by Crimson Tech Company, while The Asia Foundation Social Innovation ICT Award 2024 was received by GeoKrishi. This year's Product ICT Award was received by API Management System, while the Rising Star Innovation ICT Award was won by SpeakUp.

Similarly, the HamroPay Public Choice ICT Award was received by Zap Services, which received the most votes. The South Startup ICT Award 2024, organized targeting startups from all seven countries, was won by Bharatko Hyphen SCS, while startups from other countries that managed to make it to the top 5 in the award were also honored.

Similarly, in the institutional award categories, this year's Digital Governance Award was received by the Supreme Court, while the Digital Services Award was won by IME Pay. The Digital Education ICT Award was received by Sukuna MAB Morang and LRI Kalanki in the public and private sectors, respectively.

In addition, seven best startups from all seven provinces have been honored with the Province Startup ICT Recognition 2024. This year, Delta Tech Pvt. Ltd. from Koshi Province, Tejas Tech Pvt. Ltd. from Madhesh Province, Abhiyantrik Karmashala Pvt. Ltd. from Bagmati Province, Aakash Digital Pvt. Ltd. from Gandaki Province, Ninja Infosys Pvt. Ltd. from Lumbini Province, Business Online Services Pvt. Ltd. from Karnali Province, and Far West Infotech and Research Center from Sudurpaschim Province have been honored with the Province Startup ICT Recognition 2024.

More than 800 online nominations were received in 14 different categories in the ICT Award 2024. The selection process was completed by 14 local and 3 international expert jurors, conducting 25 more meetings.
