The amazing Sky Simone recently took some family photos of our family, and let me tell you, it’s not an easy task taking perfect pictures of a 6,4,and 2 year old and a husband who looks away every time all 3 kids are faced forward (I love you, Keith!), and also with a 4 year old who once for school pictures refused to give a single smile and told me later “mommy, it just wasn’t a smile day for me”. Sky did a magnificent job!! We are so obsessed with our pictures!! She leaves on a mission trip to Kenya this Sunday, but let’s fill up her calendar for when she returns after the 17th!! Is it just me or does other real estate agents hang out on the stairs at their open houses while there’s a quite moment? The other options in a vacant home are the kitchen countertops or the floor. 🤣

I say this about EVERY one of my clients when we close… they are all so special to me, but this closing today was one that taught me many life lessons. It was not a straight forward process, but we overcame every challenge and ended up at the table today. What a blessed day! This girl right here has worked very hard for this and is one of the most amazing, positive and patient people I know. Grateful for the many amazing people that helped make this one happen!! Closing #2 of 2 for today.

Every single one of my clients are extremely special to me, but the satisfaction I get from helping someone buy a home who’s renting and who may not see homeownership in their future, is one of the main reasons I do what I do. What it means when the listing description says “the home has some discoloration.” Yeaaaaah right. 🤣

Also, I ended up not going inside this one yesterday- when I got there, the door was broken and who knows who tried to find a warm place to stay inside. Apparently a common occurrence during the colder months for people to break into vacant homes to find a warmer place to stay. Be careful out there, real estate agents!!

Don’t worry, There’s always next year!! I’m claiming 2024 to be my year, and so should you! How blessed are we that God gives us new beginnings, new years, new days every day. We never know when those are going to run out, so make the most of every day! I end my year with only a few resolutions ticked off, some half reached, and others getting moved to next years list, but sooooo much gratitude.. for friends, family, and new beginnings. ❤️
