When I first launched my business, I was just happy to have people that were interested in working with me 😂

I was saying yes to any + every project, lowering my rates just to get the sale + in turn I was burning myself out.

I left corporate America to be able to have a deeper impact but on MY own terms.

And here I was, letting clients run me when I was supposed to be running my business. Ain’t that some sh*t?

After now being in business for a couple years while leveraging my 5+ years of experience in brand marketing + biz development, I can finally say I reached the point where I no longer get questioned about my rates or feel the need to even explain them.

That’s what I want for you. The ability to say “this is what I charge without saying “but”

I want you to feel OD confident in knowing the value of what you have to offer.

The questions you see in this post, are the exact ones I used to self-audit my business to get to the point I’m at today.

My client UC was already an expert when she came to me.

She just needed the right packaging + positioning strategy so that she could attract + secure aligned clients/partnerships.

The same likely goes for you, sis. You’re already qualified + deserving. We just need to show everyone else that. Because let’s face it, right now your site isn’t giving what it’s supposed to.

You’re deserving of a website that matches the quality of your expertise as well as the level of the clients you wanna work with.

You deserve stand firmly in rates without feeling the need to validate them.

And above all, you deserve the recognition your less-than qualified peers are getting. You’re worth it.

we decided to have her shoot in NJ and while it’s not tropical by any means, we brought her tropical aesthetic to life through outdoor greenery locations and Harry’s Daughter, a Caribbean-inspired, black owned restaurant in Jersey City🌴🌺
