Maaa, as I’m penning this down, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and love for you. I’m short of words while I’m expressing how much you mean to me and how thankful I am for everything you’ve done. You are not just my mother; you are my hero, my support, my best friend, and my guiding light through all of life’s challenges.

Mumma, your love has anchored me through every storm, and your smile has brightened my darkest days.
You’ve given me strength when I thought my world was falling apart.

As we celebrate your birthday, I hope you feel the love, appreciation, and admiration that we have for you. You are so much more than a mother; you are an inspiration, a symbol of strength, and a beacon of love. I am truly proud to be your child.

Dear Bappa,

I’m writing this letter for you to know how much you mean to us. You bring so much joy and happiness to our family every year by blessing us with your presence.

You should know how excited we were to welcome you this year. I know we didn’t get to spend time together this year, but I hope you had a wonderful time with all the other devotees.

And I hope you missed us amidst all the fun you had these 10 days because our entire family did. Bringing you home is one thing we look forward to every year. You are the reason my entire family comes together under one roof, and I can see the happiness and excitement through them.

But this year wasn’t the same. We hope you forgive us. We hope grandma has reached your home safely and is resting peacefully. Please do take care of her in our absence; we are sure you will.

Having said all that, I know you are watching us and blessing us regardless. I promise to welcome you home next year with double the excitement.
