Impetus Gaming and The Great Journey.

Impetus Gaming, formed in May 13th, 2017, as a team that focused in the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Back in that day, we were just a bunch of casual players who dream about how it feels to play in the major tournaments for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege such as ESL (Electronic Sports League) Pro League, Six Invitational, etc. At that time, there’s no Pro League spot for Asia Pacific (APAC) yet, even the weekly GO4R6S still not around, there’s only community cup that we can join every Sunday, held by ESL.

A month after Impetus Gaming was formed, we decided to join our first ever community cup. Lots of great teams participating. We lost at the quarterfinal. Even tho we didn’t bagged the cup, that result were totally boost our confidence to the sky.

With only strong will, all of us agree to aim at the bigger stage after that, the ESL Pro League. Totally sounds impossible back then, like we said, there’s no Pro League spot for APAC just yet. ESL only provides slots for teams from North America (NA) and Europe (EU). But we do believe, that someday, that day will come.

Training and training. That’s the only thing that we do everyday (actually until now). Grinding ranked, figuring out new strategies, adapting with the new meta ingame, literally everything to be prepared for the ESL Pro League.
