It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation..

On this special day, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible person you've become. Your dedication to your passions, from construction to music production, never fails to inspire me. But what truly amazes me is your resilience and optimism, even when facing challenges. You've shown me that hitting rock bottom doesn't define you; it's how you rise from it that matters most.

Reflecting on our memories together, I can't help but smile at the thought of our fishing adventure. Remember that time when you were supposed to pack up, but you couldn't resist one more cast? I was ready to give you your first real ass whooping, you were about 6 maybe 7, but then you hooked the first catch of the day, and extremely excited you were shouting "see Bub's I told you See". That moment captured your spirit – always finding joy in life's little surprises.

As you embark on your 24th year, I have no doubt it will be your best yet. Your hard work hasn't gone unnoticed, and I'm proud of the person you've become. Your dedication to your family, especially to Tanner and his mother mirrors the love and determination you've always shown.

Meet Kahhori, The Newest Super Hero in Marvel’s Series What If…?’

'What If…?' asks what would happen if the Tesseract fell to Earth and landed in the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy before the colonization of America.

Kahhori is the first original Marvel Super Hero in the entire universe. According to an official statement from Marvel, Kahhori and her story were crafted in "close collaboration" with members of the real-life Mohawk Nation, an Indigenous North American tribe. Aside from established MCU lore, the episode was written with deep regard to the history of the Akwesasne region before it became upstate New York. Marvel Studios' creators also worked with the Mohawk Nation to design Kahhori's appearance and environment. The episode also includes authentic Mohawk language!

The story is written by Ryan Little while in close collaboration with members of the Mohawk Nation like historian Doug George and Mohawk language expert Cecelia King to ensure cultural authenticity.

The new season debuts December 2023 💙

The present research on the Dicaire, Dicker, DyKerr was conducted in order to shed light on the family of the captive named Jean Louis Dicker. The circumstances surrounding his captivity still remains mysterious, even though it occurred at the same time period as the Deerfield Massacre, therefore around 1704. Note that the name of the Two Mountains mission, the Mohawk village from Two Mountains was previously named-spelled Kanesatake. Though, now the terminology evolved with the Cultural center of the community, the Mohawk Language Custodian Association who worked on the new chosen spellings and pronunciations of Mohawk terminologies, now using the orthographic formula Kanehsatake in order to use the name through its original pronunciation, nowadays written as such, Kanehsatà:ke. The analysis conducted in order to manage the genealogical association to the Dicker-Dicaire family for Mister Stevenson was previously acknowledged by previous researchers who conducted this primary genealogical tree, from which the family was linked.
