MNnews today Mnnews.today shares stories from across the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. The site also contains stories from the award-winning magazine Aurora.

mnnews.today is a local news website containing articles on education, social services, church and parish life that affect Catholics and non-Catholics alike in our region. mnnews.today is an original news source that endeavours to publish stories of interest for the people of the Maitland-Newcastle diocese (including the regions of Lake Macquarie, Taree, Charlestown, Wallsend, Stockton, Cessnock,

Nelson Bay, Forster and the Upper Hunter). Stories are provided by volunteers, teachers, students, diocesan staff and authors both amateur and professional. Aurora Magazine is an award-winning publication made available as a 24-page liftout magazine in six Fairfax publications around the region: The Newcastle Herald, The Maitland Mercury, The Singleton Argus, The Muswellbrook Chronicle, The Manning River Times and The Scone Advocate. Aurora has a circulation of 70,000 people. Aurora aims to share the stories of the people in our community, offer a Catholic perspective on current issues and events, encourage opportunities for stillness, reflection, celebration, prayer and issues an invitation to all to participate in the local church. The Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle does not agree with or endorse every comment that individuals post on our pages.
