Before hearing this song, Chase Wright was a new name to me. I was quite surprised about that as I heard his other songs which I really enjoyed as well. Delaney Jane has been one of my favorite EDM vocalists. It's awesome to see her feature a more pop-like track. Hope you enjoy their song!

OneRepublic released their fifth studio album entitled 'Human' today. A handful of songs were already put out as singles, however, 7 tracks are brand new. This one, 'Ships + Tides' only features on the Deluxe edition and is probably the saddest of them all. It drew my attention because of the powerful instrumentals and beautiful lyrics. Although FLETCHER released her song 'Healing' in late June, it's one of my favorite tracks to date. I think it's no rarity to feel a bit down after a year and a half of covid and so the lyrics might be somewhat relatable to you as well. As I was keeping an eye on the Afghanistan events earlier this week, it's fair to say it's not that bad after all. Not for most of us. Putting their tragedy into perspective to our own issues, most of us are quite lucky to say the least. Doesn't mean we don't struggle ourselves, but there are usually more bright lights than we're aware of. Keep hunting those on the way out. ✨

It's been a good while since I last uploaded a song. Since I promised myself to prioritize study, I didn't want to get back before that would near its end. Gladly, that's now pretty much the case. I'm happy to finally share a beautiful track again! As it's been so long, my hopes of any of you still seeing this aren't too high set, but hey, gotta resume things somewhere.
