The local misinformation mahem squad showed up kind of on the light side, with yet another hypocrite pastor from the Hang'im High Gang. Tonight added a couple of newbies....one who just didn't know what he wanted to say, and one who outright threatened the council and the entire city, to bring in outsiders to riot if they didn't fire Lt. Jensen.
As usual in true "Tish" form, she again, made a statement regarding the investigation like it was needed because this happens often in town.
Ms. Powell, has anyone informed you that had Decynthia Clements gotten out of her vehicle when police asked her to, that she'd be alive today???
Tish Powell is hell bent to have comments in the "Official record" of the meeting that will be detrimental to the law suit pending. Again, her only hope now is to make sure the Clements family get some sort of settlement.

We at Elginet Media, after covering this department for the good and the bad, have to say that this is the line in the sand. They're persecuting a good cop, for a good-shoot. The woman was armed with a knife and lunged at officers but.....that's not how Tish Powell tells the story (surprise!).
It's time Elgin Councilwoman Tish Powell and Councilman Corey Dixon resign. Powell has done this for years and now it's time to say enough is enough. She has unfortunately dragged what could have been a good voice for Elgin, into the mud with her. Let them drowned in their self-rightousness. We don't want this anymore.

In Illinois, If you're pulled over for DUI and refuse to submit to a sobriety or chemical test, you lose your license...period. End of story.
On April 8, 2017 at 1:46am. Sycamore Police Department engaged in a traffic-stop of Elgin Police DepartmentSergeant Mark Whaley for possibly being DUI. According to the DUI sheet filled out and s, he had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, fumbled for his license and talked with a "thick-tongue".
Whaley was mysteriously "un-arrested" hours later and taken home by Sycamore Police Department according to sources who requested anonymity.

Elgin Stabbing - Lobby Video
On March 2, 2016 at 9:16pm, 54 year old Willie Mabry walked into the Elgin Police Department bleeding with a serious stab wound and said his girlfriend had just stabbed him. He took his coat off and stood there for a second when officers then came out to assist him. You can tell a couple minutes in...he was passing out. In a matter of minutes Mabry had a 6 or 7 officers helping him while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. At the 7:50 mark on this video, Mabry's girlfriend (and the person who allegedly just stabbed him) walked into the lobby as well. She was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery.
This is the video from that night. I think all of the officers involved should be commended for the assistance they rendered Willy Mabry that night.
