Happy Birthday Anna! It’s crazy how fast time has past. I remember fancy birthday dinners, staying out late with loved ones, and even some that involved travel. Birthdays have lately looked a little different, but they are still just as amazingly special to us, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. ❤️
For me, they are a time for reflection of how thankful I am for all you do. You’re an amazing mother who always takes care of her family first before her own needs, an amazing friend who cares deeply for those around her, an amazing wife who is my better half, and who I would be lost without. ❤️
I’ve now known you for a third of your life, which sounds crazy, but it really isn’t. I feel like I’ve always known you. You’re my best friend, my beautiful and intelligent wife who loves God and her family and friends with all her heart. Thank you for everything. I love you. ❤️

Sweet Emmie Joy. Today you turned TWO. YEARS. OLD. I cannot believe it. I can remember very clearly all of the emotions of two years ago today. Excitement. Anticipation. Anxiousness. Fear. Relief. Pure Love. Since that day, there have been a myriad of other emotions that have been involved, but I will say that overall the theme of “Joy” still rings true. Emmie you are our true little bundle of Joy. We love you so much. I can’t wait for the many, many more years filled with Joy. Happy birthday my favorite little girl. 🥰
I tried something completely new today! I went to a Jiu-Jitsu class at Triad Martial Arts Academy "Cullman"! It was amazing, challenging and I learned some really cool techniques! I will for sure be sore tomorrow, but I can’t wait to go back! If you’re in the area, go check them out!
There are these moments in your life when you are absolutely confident that you were brought here by God’s divine plan. This was one of those moments, and it’s one I won’t forget. We have made it to the beach! It’s time for Emmie’s first vacation, or as she calls it: “Family Trip!” We’re gonna have a blast!

We took out first family trip with Emmie to the beach! We have been wanting to go to the beach for a while now, and we especially wanted to see Emmie's reaction to the beach, sand, ocean, waves, and water! She had so much fun standing in the ocean and playing in the sand! The first full day we did some shopping around Gulf Shores, got some good coffee from Foam, and found some great deals at the Outlets!
