Big Sugar is suing over a critical Everglades restoration project, the EAA Reservoir, threatening the project and the future of South Florida’s waters.
This lawsuit aims to allow the sugar industry to hoard public water for their personal profit—at the expense of us, the taxpayers. If successful, it threatens more harm for our communities, our economy, and our environment.

Vin Foti landed three of theses in two days in ESB. when asked what fly, here’s the response:
It’s the little ra***ad is sent you. Remember it doesn’t look all that different than Drew’s Ra***ad, just a different material that’s way easier to tie. A beginner can knock these out in 10 minutes. If you still have the intro to the tying instructions I sent in, I mention Drew’s McFly recipe. For some reason it just works in that bay. I haven’t fish Ascension, but I can’t imagine it not working there as well.

We were incredibly fortunate to be invited to Vermont this fall to preview the new Orvis Helios rods. We are beyond excited that today is the day everybody gets to see and learn about them. We had a fantastic time fishing with the great Tom Rosenbauer and spending time with the whole team. We couldn’t believe that Orvis could improve on the prior generation but they certainly did. We fished small streams and our 4wt delivered dries and small nymphs impeccably. We are really looking forward to testing a 9wt in Belize in a few weeks. Full review to come in the print magazine.

“Helios rods are what people think of when they think of Orvis innovation and leadership in fly fishing,”
said Orvis President Simon Perkins. “We had something really special with the Helios 3, and we wanted
to challenge ourselves with something better. Because the team in our Rod Shop is the best in the
world, the result is revolutionary.
