Point Cool Productions are a family of film making collaborators who get their hands dirty, work carefully and know each other better than any of them would like. Fitting and dedicated creatives are assembled at the Point Cool hub where a machine is brewing; what it crafts is sometimes vulgar, often savage. It’s always a beautiful thing. They are sculptors, hammers raised, looking for a mountain;
they are fireworks, ready to spell poetry, if only you would strike a match. Based in Collingwood at the heart of Melbourne’s progressive film scene, the five members of the company are busily working on projects which flare out from ideas not only from others but their own as well, giving the films produced a wide range of scope and audience. Founded as a figure head for a university production in 2012, Point Cool Productions has become an entity which continues to grow in 2015 and create a wide range of films, documentaries, music videos and web-series with unparalleled creativity and passion
