Nadszedł dzień, w którym dzielimy się z Wami pierwszym singlem z albumu "Budowniczowie grozy".

W roku 1917 w Szwecji powszechnym było, aby samotne matki oddawały swoje dzieci pod opiekę innym kobietom, by uniknąć publicznego upokorzenia. Jedną z takich kobiet była Hilda Nilsson, która za odpowiednią opłatą przyjmowała niemowlęta i małe dzieci do dzielonego z mężem domu, który zawsze utrzymywała w nieskazitelnej czystości (dzięki temu sprawiała wrażenie osoby godnej zaufania). Nilsson uważała jednak, że pieniądze, które otrzymywała w zamian za opiekę były niewystarczające i o wiele bardziej opłacało się jej szybkie pozbycie „problemu”. Została skazana za zamordowanie ośmioro dzieci, które najczęściej topiła w wanience – napełniała ją wodą, zakrywała wieko ciężkim przedmiotem, po czym odchodziła na kilka godzin. Martwe ciała paliła i czasem zakopywała. Aresztowano ją, gdy jedna z matek chciała odwiedzić swoje oddane pod opiekę dziecko i kiedy nie była w stanie skontaktować się z opiekunką, powiadomiła o wszystkim policję. Morderczynię skazano na śmierć przez ścięcie gilotyną, ale kary nigdy nie wymierzono – Nilsson powiesiła się w swojej celi.

Vægtløs 'aftryk'

What do you do when one of your best friends gets diagnosed with cancer? How do you handle losing someone close to you?

Vægtløs are trying to wade into questions like these on their upcoming album, which solely includes songs about people close to the band who died or suffered deadly diseases.

Vægtløs focuses on a vulnerability and openness that are lacking in the music scene, but also in society, in general. Life is fleeting and fragile, and Vægtløs is a bridge to gap between the monumental emotional dread underlying the fact that all beauty will eventually die and the cathartic strength found in music.

In these immensely bleak times, the need for melancholic and desolate music has never been greater. Vægtløs pours every last bit of passion into their aggressive yet emotional music which can be described as intense and atmospheric post-metal with hints of black metal, post-rock, post-hardcore, and emo, eventhough it is not a distinct variation of neither of those, but a mutated multifaceted modificaton of the sum. Musically the band never took any notice of trends and genres, as the band draws inspiration equally from life as from art and music.

High time to introduce new band, absolutely amazing group of talented musicians hailing from Aalborg, Denmark. Debut album by Vægtløs "Aftryk" will be the first Three Moons Records release in 2024! Exactly, February 2nd. Mark the date!

Thank you for 2023! All the bands I had luck and pleasure to work with, all the artists who have contacted me, all supporters buying tapes, spreading the news, commenting and simply being interested in music. Last year was 'personal best' in terms of number of new releases for Three Moons Records -12 regular ones and two special editions! I really hope you like them.
New year has just began, but there are new releases planned and in the works already - stay tuned!
