CEFL Cup is starting this weekend with the first game of the Northern group. In a repeat of last season’s Czech finals, current national champions Vysočina Gladiators will host Prague Lions on Easter Sunday at 16:00 CET. Teams will double down on this duel which counts as their national league game too.

The time has come for the CEFL Championship’s curtain to lift again. First game of the season will be played this Saturday, 2 April at 18:00 CET in Thonon les Bains, France.

Home team, the Black Panthers Football Thonon will host LG OLED Las Rozas Black Demons who are coming from the outskirts of Madrid.

Yesterday, Branko Mutic announced he’s retiring.

He is one of the most special players Europe has ever had a chance to see play. With over 130 games with teams across Europe, and 12 games in Serbian National team jersey - he’s not just one of the greatest European linemen, but has one of the biggest hearts as well!

After a couple of seasons of hiatus induced by well-known factors, the CEFL Cup is making a comeback in 2022. Five new teams are joining CEFL for the first time and one notable name will try out the Cup. All participants have topped their national leagues last season ensuring the strength of this year’s CEFL Cup tournament.

Reposted • - We are very happy to be in the situation to defend our title for the third time. To make it to the Bowl is always one of our top goals.

I’m very proud of the team, players and coaches! Everyone worked very hard in the preparation for both CEFL games and in both games I felt we were ready. We played those games as if there was no tomorrow. Both games weren’t easy by any means.

In the game against the Seamen, we executed in all 3 phases: offense, defense and special teams as planned without making mistakes.

Against the Vikings we struggled on offense making to many mistakes, but we’re able to make those critical plays in the end when we needed them. The defense has been on a mission throughout the tournament! Although we weren’t perfect there either, the Vikings couldn’t capitalize on our mistakes.

I hope we can further improve until the June 26th and show our best football yet.

Sportklub CEFL Championship is continuing this weekend with the first semifinal game.

Its participants are SWARCO Raiders Tirol, who have beaten SEAMEN MILANO 41 – 14 two weeks ago, and AFC Dacia Vienna Vikings, after dealing an exorbitant blow 82 – 7 to Wild Boars Kragujevac.

Game is played on Saturday, 29 May at the American Footballzentrum in Innsbruck with the kickoff at 16:00 CET.
